SAT V.C.V.G. was formed in 1989 and was
initially made up of 15 partners. The first wine cellar was rather small
and was used for white wine. The average production from these early
vintages was only 15,000 bottles per year.
Our present-day wine cellar, BODEGA COMARCA VALLE
DE GÜÍMAR, was created in 1993 in response to the
local growing interest in the enterprise. The BRUMAS
DE AYOSA and PICO CHO MARCIAL brands
were first introduced to the market in 1994. They represent the beginning
of an expansion not only in terms of our product line, but also in the
quality of all the wines produced in the cellar, which included dry
whites, medium-dry whites, rosés and reds. The winery was finished
in 1996, when 70.000 bottles were produced and the number of partners
had increased to 95.
